Style 64Facets like Coco Chanel
Born on August 19, 1883 in Saumur, France, Gabrielle Bonheur “Coco” Chanel was and continues to be one of the most influential fashion designers in the world. Known for being the first to use jersey fabric in her designs, Chanel was very progressive when it came to the apparel industry. She designed the legendary tweed pantsuit specifically for women, while also introducing the timeless and revolutionary little black dress.
Not only did her fashion brand, House of Chanel, receive huge recognition and success, but her own style was and currently is revered by many. From bold statement jewelry pieces to layering multiple and different chains and necklaces, Coco Chanel left a powerful mark on both the fashion and jewelry industry.
A classic fashion staple of the French designer, Chanel was often seen wearing layers of short and long chain necklaces. She mostly wore pearl necklaces of varying lengths, but also tended to mix and match multiple chains with different precious and semi-precious gemstones. There were times where she would even style real pearl necklaces with fake ones.
To achieve Chanel’s exemplary style with our jewelry, wear our Elements Gemstone Bead Necklaces and Elements Gemstone and Diamond Chains with different lengths of Ethereal Diamond Chain Necklaces with our Ethereal Tassels as pendants. Upon request, 64Facets can design chain necklaces with white and black pearls, diamonds, and other precious gemstones such as rubies, emeralds and sapphires.
Statement Stud Earrings
Along with multiple necklace layers, Chanel also wore bold and bright statement stud earrings, as they accentuate the shape of your face and your outfit. When elegantly paired with long cocktail dresses and a low messy bun that showcase the earrings, you can recreate Coco Chanel’s look.
Our Eclat Diamond Shield Studs and Eclat Diamond Spiked Studs are the stud earrings that perfectly emulate Chanel’s appreciation for striking earrings. These stud earrings from our Eclat Collection are the ideal statement pieces with their radiant and round rose-cut diamonds accented by vivid and distinct designs.
Coco Chanel also typically styled her look with one or two sizable rings. When she wore her glamorous bands with a single large cuff bracelet with a design (often with pearls) and a casual outfit, Chanel was then able to make powerful fashion statements with her jewelry.
